The 107-51's and some of the 107-54's should be shipping late this week Paid off my balance on layaway today so i can get this hopefully next week. I did the layaway as well, but it looks like they may have charged the whole thing today. Wanted to keep this on the down low so the wife wouldn't bitch. Oh well, with 41P looming (maybe) The process should begin ASAP. That, and two of those smokin Larue barrel/trigger deals yesterday. And we have BF coming as well I see the couch being your new bed until next month |

I'll wait for the "Look what we found in the back of the warehouse...." email a year from now.

so, you could buy the rifle, receive the rifle, file Form 1, find someone to cut & thread the barrel, add a comp, and end up a little cheaper than $2k, right? View Quote Perhaps a little. I was ther, and after a little thought, I just went ahead and ordered the SBR. Another part of that is that I have a stock 107CR sitting in my closet after about 5 years. |

Wouldn't be the first time they did it. If they misplaced as much shit in their warehouse as they claim, the ATF would have shut their asses down years ago |

A bunch of the 51's went out today.
Triple amounts of the 51's will go out tomorrow with some of the 54's. K-Var will email you a tracking # when it ships. There is supposed to be some important letter from team K-Var with the packing slip with every rifle. Not sure if its about the rescrictor in the gas block or some NFA info.Just a heads up. Hopefully some of ours ship out in Thursdays batch |

Havnt heard anything about my 54 yet. I did the whole pay in full with $10 down and the reminder the day it ships. Guess im not on the first batch?

They called me today but I couldn't answer. I'll call back tomorrow.

Always wanted the 107UR, missed the first boat and no way i was paying the prices they wanted for them before this new drop. Now i will have 2 5.45 krinks, one being a 104 and one a crappy kit build, and the 107. Well shit now it looks like i need a 106UR one of these days! My only dilemma is idk how i wanna set the 107 up. Im all about traditional but my 104 is already tradition and my other one i took the poly furniture off the 104 and slapped it on. Might go tacticool for the first time in my AK life |

Might go tacticool for the first time in my AK life Thats a good problem to have with several krinks Never thought the UR's would come back and if they did i figured they would be $1500+ for them.To say i was shocked at the price is an understatement. I have seen some of the 106UR's going for less than $800 on gunbroker every once in awhile. I thought about going with traditional Tula wood HG and triangle stock but all of my other AKs are traditional so im going to leave it as it came with the poly stock.Might get the original Bulgy HG's at some point. A Plum colored one would be sweet but the prices on a krink set is @$240 from K-Var |

Placed my order 10/28, told Amanda I wanted to pay in full.
CC still not charged, should I be alarmed? Also, does Kvar send you a email to let you know when they submit the form 3? |

Im going to have to try to convince my FFL to let me come and pick mine up next Saturday.
If i dont i will have to wait until the following Friday to pick mine up,damn work getting in the way and stuff Going to grab a US Palm grip and toss the popsicle stick grip,i hate those. |

Just picked mine up today. Beautiful and perfectly straight. Could not be happier. Upon a more in depth inspection, this rifle is cosmetically perfect and mechanically sound.
This is also my first triangular folder. I can see why people prefer the polymer sidefolder. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/638/22701975697_b8044e9415_b.jpg View Quote Nice, looks like you got a good straight one. How is the trigger? Cant wait to see what the gift was from K-var,dont tell me though. I hope mine is gtg ,should be here Friday. |

Trigger isn't terrible, but I don't like the Arsenal triggers at all. I'll run with it for awhile though!

I know the 107's have the gas plug..... Do the 104's have them as well?

I know the 107's have the gas plug..... Do the 104's have them as well? View Quote I have only heard of two 104's that had the plug. If you chop the barrel and it doesnt cycle properly it probably has a plug. **Edit- On my 107UR i can see the plug with the gas tube off the rifle using a bright flashlight by looking into the gas port. You will see a black little donut in the center of the gas port going into the barrel. It basically cuts the port diameter in half. There are some great pics of the plug over on the akfiles in the k-var section for reference. One person has already drilled his out and said it was very easy just dont go bigger than 3mm. |

Ugh!
My FFL is a good guy, and he is the cheapest around, but he is so freaking slow when it comes to notifying people to come get their guns. Shows mine was delivered on the 17th I have a Draco there as well Might have to go elsewhere from now on. |

I use an FFL that runs it out of his house.I agree sometimes our work hours, etc is a hassle to get a time worked out. I dont like regular store front FFL's for transfers after a few i used in the past would finger fuck my guns before i get there, which i highly frown upon. That being said, i will deal with the schedule hassle as i know only he sees the items and he waits until i get there to take the rifle out. That goes a long way with me |
|
Yeah, he is out of his house. Seattle area FFL's are expensive on transfers, and his fee is reasonable.
I shot him an email, so hopefully tomorrow for some 107UR goodness. |
|
ordered a 107UR with the triangle stock, will be my second 107UR
can't wait until it shows up! I don't think these have been around for the past 5-8 years, I was able to score one on the secondary market for around $1500, which I thought was fair $1300 is a pretty good price, they could have asked for a few hundred more |

Got mine on layaway at K-var. Deposited 25% on it. hope to have it in not too long.

Well i got my ALG trigger in today for my UR.
The trigger is too wide at the base to move freely in the receiver. I know how to install AK FCG done it a bunch of times. It fits in but is rubbing on the right side of the trigger base where the trigger is so stiff it won reset. I tried a Tapco G2 i had laying around and low and behold the G2 fits perfect with no issues. I can see on the right side of the ALG trigger where it is making contact with the receiver. Not happy as this was $50. All of my other ALG triggers fit perfect in my WASR and Maadi.Guess i got a lemon, going to try to wet sand the trigger base on the one side and see if that works |
|
That sucks to hear. I have a couple ALG triggers on the way and was looking forward to get a first hand feel. I'll let you know how my install goes.
|
|
Yea that sucks to hear I bought to yesterday.
I remember Gunslinger saying you might have to modify some to fit, on his video. |
