Nope. Slant brake always sits at an angle.

Not much to say, functioned 100%. Accuracy was on par with my other AKs.

The rear trunnion is but I can't tell about the front.

I shot my PSAK this morning, worked fine, accuracy was 3.50" at 100 from the bench.....Meh, nothing to write home about, pretty typical.

I dressed my "beater" in in Russian plum.

The OP's rifle looks to have a nice gap between the brake and the FSB, so technically BeardedDude is correct, that needs to be snugged up.

As does mine.

It seems PSA did not cut enough threads, looks like they are about 1/16 of a inch shy of what it should be. Hard to believe they fucked that up.

More to the point the front sight tower is simply too far forward for enough threads to be cut. Can't thread barrel that's not there to thread.

I have that issue as well.

I wanted to use a normal muzzle nut but if you look at the pic you can see how short the threaded part of the barrel is. The muzzle nut is flat against the FS tower.

The end of the muzzle should be flush with the end of the muzzle nut with no muzzle nut threads showing.

I tried two different MNs with the same results.

I'm wondering if the slant break that comes with the kits have the same issues.

Shy on the back end next to the FSB too? As in threads end before the FSB face? That's fixable too but damn.....

Most slant brakes are threaded internally all the way to the back face of the brake, plenty aftermarket brakes have a little beveled lead-in, I have run into this issue when threading a barrel without removing the FSB, you just can't cut right up to the FSB. No biggie, you can use a countersink bit to bevel it yourself.
