Makes me want to go apeshit with a few cans on my SBS. It is looking distressed (from actual use, lol), which I prefer, but something different would be refreshing.

I have an old WASR that has started to rust in a few place. After yesterday, I also have 3 cans of spray paint... I have been inspired by Fin. If I can get this done soon, I'll post pics.

This thread inspired me; I finally painted one of mine. I honestly can't see going back. This thing is sexy with some color on it!

Didn't turn out like I planned. The single color was awesome - but it just wasn't right.

So I busted out the brown and went for the Gruppa99 color scheme as seen below.

And it turned out awesome. The field drab made a great base to pattern off of, now to paint some other stuff

That field drab looks like a great base. Iuse the walmart camo krylon "tan" and always feel its to light.

The thick swamps, with mountain laurel and rhododendrins, where I bum around need a darker camo like what you just did.

I'm assuming you're talking to me since I did use olive drab as a base:)

It's funny because I did this about three months ago when I lived in the north east and it matched pretty good. I moved and niw I'm in the middle of the desert and it's not quite as effective lol.

But I can't bring myself to change them.

sorry, meant to quote Finn. That field drab he used for his base is a lot darker than the tan I use.
