I love the look of the one with wood furniture.
Would love one of these in my collection, but the price is more than I can swing. In another life where my wallet hadn't been broken by divorce, I'd have seriously considered it. Good job bringing it to market. I wish I could play the game. |

Uzi mags are "almost" the same. The mag catch cutout on a Uzi mag just needs a little modification. You tube has plenty of videos on it. I have a lot of colt and Uzi converted mags for my colt 9mm smg. They work.

Seems to me this is like the apple watch - you might like it or hate it, want it or not, too expensive or not ... it is a choice now. If it sells it will get better if not then it becomes google glass ... I appreciate it being out there and hope there are more to come

Yes the AKX-9 was expensive to build and cost more to produce that what we anticipated . We have been wanting to offer a Well Built and Reliable AK 9mm for the last 12 years & had worked with several firms but none could actually make it happen. We are happy to be able to offer a working gun that is accurate and reliable . It may not be be everybody's cup of tea but we are glad to be able to offer it as another Option to our shooting customers. Thus far the feedback from Gun Writers and others that have been working with the AKX-9 has all been positive , We have had several writers that have had a chance to shoot the Russian gun and the AKX 9 and provided feedback . AK Operators Union will have their Russian Counterparts visiting the US soon and they will be evaluating the AKX-9 vs their Russian guns and provide feedback. So lots of good info to come in the near future .

eternal24k , the Side folder sold out very quickly , Definitive has more in production now and we expect to see them in 2 weeks .
MAKAK47 , Yes DA has actually been approached by several Law Enforcement agency's and one Military contractor that are requesting Select Fire Demo guns , they will probably build those up in 6 -8 weeks as they are tied up in the current Civilian Rifle production cycle. walkinginadangerzone The AKX-9 parts were expensive to produce the only way the price will go lower is if they go into huge production , Defintinve builds a very High Quality product & the owner Chase is involved with each gun , Given they are not a pump crap out the door as fast as you can firm , I just do not see a cheap mass production AKX 9 in the near future . |

DOG556 , the AKX 9 pistol will take a Variety of Options , you can use the regular SB47 brace , you can install a pig nose with a tube for a brace , or if going the Short Barreled rifle route you can install a ACE style stock , Folder hinge or AR15 style stock with buffer tube .

Just saw the Volk armament Facebook page. I wonder if they are the firm who was supposedly working on the MP5 mag version? Interesting to know if that's the case seeing as they are quoting a $1200 price tag.

FYI , there are several reviews on the AKX9 that are quite favorable , Rob Ski from AK Operators union has extensively tested the gun with great feedback , He also had one of his Russian trainers that was familiar with the Russian Vityaz compare the two guns and offer his thoughts in a video.

We had contacted Volk several times wanting to also sell their 9mm rifle . Atlantic try's to offer a wide variety of AK based options to our customers & would love to see the Volk come to market. Unfortunatley the Volk unit does not really show much info on what you may be getting for $1200.00 so the verdict is out until we see more than one of them on the market and running . We would love to test one and put it through the paces to insure fit , finish & function before vending a product to our customers. The AKX 9 is a proven design & has been reviewed by several people including the AK Operators Union and is now being reviewed by Writers for Shotgun News , SAR Magazine , Gunsamerica and a few others so more professional reviews will be coming out over the next few months. The AKX -9 is not inexpensive but it was designed well and built right.

Honestly..... I would buy it if was $1200-1300 shipped. Tops!
For an AK chambered in any round it's hard to spend more than $1200 on it. Maybe in a few months when a few used come up for sale, which I doubt as I haven't seen any on other forums yet being discussed, I might buy one used for $1200. I really want one, I'm a FFL/SOT, so as soon as I get it I can laup off that extension and put a Tri-Lug extension on and run it suppressed. Ever since I saw it Being announced I was so happy and once pics and even video came out I was SOOOOO excited and was going to F5 the hell out of it, but...... That price crushed me. If it was like $1250 shipped, I'd buy it right now, today! I was looking at the full stock model, or the folding stock..... Maybe the pistol. |

If I order the pistol can I use the sig ak brace you sell that fits between the trigger guard and frame? Like on the pap pistol you sell? Can A Blade Brace work on this? Lastly on your web site for the pistol it shows the back of the pistol receiver drilled and tapped with 4 holes. Do they all come this way? |

The rear of the AK9 pistols have a nice set up to allow you to mount a stock if you want to do a SBR or you can mount a pignose and screw in a Sig Brace or other. You can also install a ACE Style folding hinge if you desire .
