ok - got it cleaned up and repainted.

the arsenal trigger blows compared to my G2's - G2 will be ordered pronto for this.

its MUCH smoother than the romanians and even the saigas I've had.

hopefully there will be time to hit the range tomorrow afternoon, if not I'll get the camera out and take pics for sure.

Very nice score. Gratz!

ETA: I don't know how folks like the triangle over the poly. It's truly amazing.
What's your thought now that you have both?

This is the first time I've had to show restraint and not use any greens.

Believe it or not - tan and brown works great in middle TN.

Very nice paint job.

You weren't messing around, picked up the rifle and painted it the same day.

That is awesome.

What kind of sling setup do you have there?

It's a 2pt gear sector I'm using until I figure out what I want on here.

HK connector for the front and a homemade paracord loop on the rear

Pulled the ultimak off this evening and restored the factory upper HG.

Going to snag a RS regulate / AKMD side mount to use with my trs 25. I enjoy using irons and felt limited with the ultimak in that regard.

I for one prefer the ultimak, but after many years of fighting co-witness, I have come to embrace it. The RS is a great piece though, saw one in the EE I believe.

It's pouring here in Middle TN....which means the range won't be crowded

I'm off to zero this beast and burn through 300 rounds, range report shall follow.

Hoolllly I missed a lot in the past week. Congrats on the new stick Fin. Mine has been sitting in the safe but now you're going to make me paint it....
And shoot it!
