Just picked a Beryl Archer for a great deal from a member on this forum, which included an un-installed optics rail.  It's the factory rail that came with it, but no screw.

You guys know the tang screw size?

I think that the tang screws are M5 x .08 but that a machined 10/32 screw will work. That's what I used to install the Beryl folding stock but sorry I don't recall the exact size.

That looks right, but I don't know, I've never seen it.  All I have is the threaded hole.  I work at an industrial supply house, so I can get those, no matter what the size.

So it's M5x.08?

99 percent sure on the M5 x .08.

how long is the screw?

You'll have to cut it to fit. Length will vary depending on which stock is on it.

Factory optics rail for Beryl 04/06 does not use any screw for mounting. At least it should not use any screw: tang has mounting point that interfaces with socket in rail and is locked using adjustable tension lever.

Thanks, I checked and you're right.  I guess it's missing the tang screw, though.  I'm going to use the depth function on my calipers to find the length.  You guys rock!
