Last time I ordered from them,I believe they were bought out and being liquidated... Never had a problem when I ordered from them.

It seams like I read somewhere that tho company was at one time Interport (importers of early Maadi's, see first post in Maadi section) and then became Global Sales out of Delta Utah in the early to mid 90's. Anyone know if this is true?

Website was up two month ago. Bought many EG items from them over the years. I found a seller on gunbroker selling similar items based in Delta, UT. I just asked if they were the same company. they've been around in one form or another for 20 years or more. Can't remember the guy's name, but he'd occasionally do the Phoneix shows. He was the only source for Namibian FAL furniture. But it was always a little shaky mail-ordering.

I remember all of those Namibian stock sets on display at the booth, I wish I got one.
There was a close resemblance in the Shotgun News of the late 90's between the AA-OK ads and Global Sales ads. I think the location was either the same area also, but back then you could only guess and suspect it was the same person(s). |
