The receiver is a Nodak Spud, the barrel is green mountain chrome lined, trigger is tapco g2. Parts lot was excellent grade from Apex. Has new tritium night vials in the flip up night sights on it. It is tight, very accurate and in great condition. What is the approx value on this rifle? I have a Norinco Mak90 that I've owned since the early 90s. Its still original and never converted. I've probably put less than 1000 round through it. Not sure if it is straight or slant. It's in good condition since spent most of it's time in a safe with occasional range trips.
What's the value to these in todays market? Is a slant or straight cut receiver more valuable? Thanks in advance. |

I have been offered a trade, and want to know the approximate value. I copied his offer directly from the email:
Would you trade for a fully converted (professionally by Hiram Holt) Russian Molot Vepr tactical ak47 rifle chambered in a .308 with squareback heavy receiver 1.5 mil thick with a 20-inch heavy chromed lined barrel, polished two stages trigger and a css slotted forearm, cnc machined Russian style warrior muzzle device, vltor milspec tube with magpul stock with sling , molot style pistol grip, extended mag release with a 5 and 10 round vepr mags, oversized charging knob, gg&g heavy duty bipod that folds up a Midwest scope mount with a bushnell extreme tactical scope x10 magnification plus ~150 rounds of 308 ammo for your ar and scope. Fyi there had been a banned on this extreme ak's and ask they will do is keep getting more expensive and this is top of the line ak. View Quote |

I found a mint SLR-95 locally for $999. It seems like a decent deal in the current market. If I can beat them down to $900 OTD, I think it would be a steal since its used. Anyone agree?

Looking at getting a Norinco Mac 90. It's new in box with 3 10 round mags. Supposed to be all numbers matching and pre ban. How do I tell if it's pre ban? What's something like that worth? Has the thumb hole stock if that helps. Thanks! http://<a href=http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af227/mustang-cars/Mobile%20Uploads/image_44.jpeg</a>" /> http://<a href=http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af227/mustang-cars/Mobile%20Uploads/image_45.jpeg</a>" /> View Quote No MAK 90s are preban, that is why it has the thumbhole stock and neutered front end. Assuming it is a straight cut receiver it is worth arpund $600-$650. |
|
When it comes to AKs "pre-ban" is referencing the import ban of 89. A lot of people use "pre-ban" to describe any rifle built before the 94 AWB time frame. While that one has expired, a few states still have there own version of that law.
So if want the evil features on the MAK, you have to have enough US compliance parts. If it were a true pre 89 rifle, you would not be bound by the parts count rule. |

I found a SKS (type M) that Norinco manufactured to use AK mags.
The previous owner put a Tapco T6 stock on it, but no other changes. Other than the stock swap, it's in ~90% condition. And there are five used surplus steel mags with the deal. I can get the package for ~$400. What sayeth the hive on this deal? |

Looking for an idea on value of an all original Bulgarian AKS-74U Numbers matching parts kit.... All Matching, barrel and all.

I have a Bulgarian AK74 built by DDI on a leftover but correctly spec'd Waffen Werks receiver. VLTOR buffer tube adaptor, OD Magpul CTR stock, Magpul pistol grip, plum upper handguard, black lower handguard, Krebs ambi safety with BHO, Circle10AK knurled extended charging handle. 500 flawless rounds. Just curious about value. <a href="http://s1276.photobucket.com/user/thomasmennis/media/061A8325-4BEB-4BF9-90C0-FF1C73119D09_zpslyxivzmf.jpg.html" target="_blank">http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y463/thomasmennis/061A8325-4BEB-4BF9-90C0-FF1C73119D09_zpslyxivzmf.jpg</a> <a href="http://s1276.photobucket.com/user/thomasmennis/media/7E741723-6106-4B5B-A5F9-6731FA88EDF2_zpsm8yvflhj.jpg.html" target="_blank">http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y463/thomasmennis/7E741723-6106-4B5B-A5F9-6731FA88EDF2_zpsm8yvflhj.jpg</a> View Quote Unfortunately the Waffen Werks guns built on their in house receivers have a tarnished name but I have a couple and they have been flawless for me. But, they haven't held value as well as would be expected in this rising AK market against other comparable rifles. I would say it is worth around $600 in today's market. |

Looking for a value of a Chris Butler built ak103 on a saiga. 7.62x39 I got this year's ago. Basically a safe Queen. I'm seeing slr107s sell at but it now prices of $1400 on GB. Just saw a saiga arsenal sell for $1550 as well. Seems that the more desirable varies are big money now. http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x124/jackal2001/ak103a.jpg View Quote The builder being Chris Butler definitely helps the value for those who are in the know in the AK world and of course the Saigas are commanding more money each day it seems. I'd say it is worth at least $1300 if not more these days but it is tough to tell as market prices keep climbing so it could be worth even more at this point. |

I read the sticky note about posting this so hopefully this is OK. I did a decent amount of looking an didn't see any of these for sale so I thought I would ask the value. I have an AK USA made AK103K. This is built off a Izhmash Russia Saiga. It also has a Russian Kobra sight on it. Any feedback on the value would be great guys! ak103 by chris thompson, on Flickr |

So just out if curiously, what would a Bulgarian 74 on a NDS receiver, all Zhukov Magpul furniture, CNC warrior break, MI side rail mount be worth with around 12 circle 21 mags, 35 Tapco mags, and 3200 rounds of 7n6 be worth?

Arsenal sgl41. $800 for excellent condition sgl41 with a 10rd s mag. Is that a fair selling price for me?
|
|
I have to admit that I've been slacking at keeping up with the current prices. My apologies for not being able to offer much help.
Make sure you're checking current listings on the EE/Gunbroker/etc.. to help get a better idea. |
|
SAR 1 Good condition being offered in trade. Guy values it at $800. That seems high to me. Looked at gunbroker and it seems like 600-800 might be the going rate for one. Just want a sanity check. I asked but haven't received more detailed information on the rifle.
Are these good quality AKs? Above or below a WASR? Thanks for your time and help with this. |
|
Better than a WASR IMO, and when I was keeping up with prices, that was the going rate.

A local guy has an AK listed as a Russian Legion Saiga in 223. Only markings I can make out on the receiver is the word "CANTA" except the N is backwards and the T is actually a gamma symbol if that makes sense. It has wood furniture, no bayonet lug or cleaning rod, and he states it takes galil mags. I can try to post a pic but no promises I will get it right. Any idea what it might be and a ballpark value? My only AK experience is with my WASR that I bought earlier this year. Thanks
|
|
Depends if it is converted or not; most of the saigas have increased in value somewhat since they are no longer imported.
Unconverted, you're looking at $600-800, Converted, between $900-1,200 The "CANTA" is Saiga in cyrillic, put saiga into google translate english to russian and that's what you'll see. may be stamped Legion Izhevsk/ Legion Izhmash or FIME Group as the manufacturer/ converter The problem with .223 AKs is the mags because they were never issued nearly as widely as the 7.62x39 or 5.45x39, so most of the available mags are either expensive and/or rare (Bulgarian / Russian, German) or junk, (pro mag, etc). Polish Beryl mags will work and are more affordable and plentiful, as are Tapco Galil mags, but they lack steel supports Galil Orlite (polymer) mags will also work. |

Looking for some prices on some ak's I may sell.
1. AMD65 made by TGI in excellent condition with original barrel and the longer muzzle brake. Maybe 100 rounds through it. 2. Polish under folder built on a nodak spud receiver. Kit was all matching in excellent condition. I bead blasted and parkerized and cold blued....no paint maybe 100 rounds through it. Original sling and pouch. 3. Yugo m92 krink built on a nodak spud receiver. Kit was unfired all matching. Has Blackthorn's brake extension and original brake. Under folder, also bead blasted pakerized and cold blued. One mag through it. Original sling and pouch Thanks for any info |

Current value or a Norinco MAK90. Looks like a standard AK with all wood. Doesn't appear that the end of the barrel is threaded.

Sooo.. I'm trying to sell the last of my "collector guns." Since they are pricey I'm getting a lot of trade offers. I have two guys offering me basically the same thing:
Russian AK74 built from a parts kit. 5.45x39 of course. Izhmash marked, 1983 dated kit from RGuns. Laminate handguard, bakelite pistol grip, and Folding triangle stock. 74uLLC receiver. Both rifles were built by a guy on theakforum.net named BR7.62, he is a well respected builder over there. On one rifle the barrel is a saiga take off, the other rifle has a Bulgarian barrel. One of the rifles has a scope rail from Collectors Source, so it's an accurate replica. The other has no scope rail. The builds look very well done. On par with POHF or any other big name builder. I'm out of touch with the AK market these days since I haven't been keeping up. I'm hoping to get some insight into the value of just the rifles with no accessories. Thanks! |
|
Santa's coming...trying to determine approx value of a safe queen I have:
Robinson Arms VEPR K .223 (5.56) with Russian Kobra red dot scope. Only 200-300 rounds thru it. Like new condition. Thanks for any information. VEPR K .223 |

Hey guys, looking to get some info on a century m64 rpk. I can't find much on them and looks like you can't buy them anymore. I found some info on cheaper than dirt but there's no prices on the website since they don't sell them anymore. Does anybody know the current value of them? I found a used one for 1100 unfired. Does that sound right?

Hey guys, I got a CAI Polish Underfolder in 7.62.
Just curious of what the value would be. Thanks! Fixed! Shitty pic. Attached File |

If the 1100 one is that one on GB, it comes with 1500 rounds of ammo, 4 mags and a drum mag, so basically it's the same price when you take out for the ammo. so 750-ish for just the rifle. |

View Quote "standard AK with all wood" can mean a couple things, do you mean wood as in thumbhole stock, or wood as in separate stock/pistol grip (not likely if the barrel's not threaded) 600-800 if it's a thumbhole MAK, waaaaay more if it's pre-ban with all the features. |
