Interesting.

Should appeal to a lot of enthusiasts that like the 5.4x39mm round but want a tough, robust receiver.

I think that a $1000+ AK74 would be a tuff sell. It has no real collector value and I know I wouldn't bite at those prices. You may as well get a Centurion 39 to go with it. I've never heard of Iron Clad but if the "guru" says its junk ill take his word.

Too much extra weight that serves no purpose.  I see no reason to have a milled AK other than to have something different.  I definately wouldn't want to carry it around very long.

Well I have a stamped side folder (74) and a milled 74 coming my way.   I will be doing an honest review of both rifles; if they suck I'll let you know.   If they're great; I'll let ya'll know that as well.    Stay tuned

I didnt even know there was such a thing? Or is this some american bastardization? I know some dont really care about correctness but man thats kinda rediculous im sorry to say. Is this really what the ak market wants?

I'm not an expert on milled rifles, just some things I noticed. The receiver appears to be a single tang vice a double tang, doubt it will affect the function and you can use any AKM or AK74 stock? Also wondering if someone can chime in how an AK74 kit is compatible with a milled receiver?

I think this is going to be a tough sell with a U.S. barrel and what not. For that kind of money, the SGL31-61 and SLR105 reigns supreme if you can find one.

Receiver needs to be double tang on a milled gun. Receivers aren't correct because they are likely 47 pattern. If I had that kind of coin I'd buy a true Russian or Bulgarian 74 stamped gun or a real Arsenal milled 101

i hear from akfiles that the do 300$ builds from kits and if you send em all parts 300$ incuding paint/park pretty cheap, bad bad with english and spelling over there, but if its a good rifle who cares,
whats the price on the triangle folder, and its a us made barrel to! id send em a kit receiver and real deal barrel

Those look pretty!  Finally nice to see a scope rail on the side too!

I own Milled, Stamped, and RPK style stamped receivers, and I really don't think it adds or takes away anything from the rifle with any, I think if you could make a milled rifle with a regular AKM style tang that would be better than the double tang IMHO
