Here is a good comparison..ak 74 vs ak 47...
This is a 5.56 SLR 106 FR and the other is a converted AMD 65 with AKM furniture in 7.62

Picked up a PK-01 mount with offset 30mm ring from Kalinka, mounted a Primary Arms M3 on it set back a bit and it fits the 106UR perfectly. Taking it out to the range tomorrow to see how it holds up.

It's a faux suppressor, covers up the exposed barrel until I get around to SBRing it.

pics aren't that great, but I'm pretty much done with this build. Need to redo the JB weld in the holes though, the rear stock pushed it out.



I'll get the non-potato out this weekend and get some better shots.















Full conversion. Trigger guard and all barrel parts.
