nictra,
I simply love that 74 underfolder. To me, it's quite unique. Something you don't see everyday. |

You know where to find CHF krink barrels? I don't. |

Thanks bro.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I've only put about 200rnds through the Ultimak, but so far, so good. I assume yours is hanging in there tough, yeah? |

Looks to be a 12.5" barrel with a pinned brake from AK-USA. Exactly - Chris Butler did the conversion from an SGL-31-61. Correct Rusky folder (solid pin) and Marshall pistol grip reinforcement plate. He cut and put an 11 degree crown on the barrel, which should increase accuracy. The only things not correct are the FSB/GSB (bulgarian) and the Butler brake (which is pinned). I'll tell you what, it's my favorite rifle, however. The brake is just as effective (if not more) than a standard 100 series brake and the weight balance is AWESOME. the 105 config is by FAR my favorite on the AK. My review Nailing steel silhouette at 140 yards |

It's so long, that I think it does a decent job. I shot in overcast rain conditions on Saturday, and I didn't even notice a flash. |

I though of the ACOG route and the AR 332, but I tried it on a buddy's and it's too high. Plus, now I can move the magnifier to 3 other AKs.

I'll be putting on a Bulgarian 4.5mm folder on it soon. Although, this rifle is really just a placeholder until I get my AK-74M, AK-105, and AK-104 built. It's kind of the beater out of the other SLR-105's so I don't have many qualms modifying it. |

Two questions: 1) What kind of groups do you get with this rifle? 2) Does the extended 100 series brake/hider produce a lot of blast and flash at night? |

Started life as a Saiga sporter, cut down the barrel to 10.5", shortened gas system, reprofiled barrel for a 105 gas/sight block, installed sidefolder ect ect.
It's basically a cut down AK-105 that I've dubbed the "Micro-105". -D Originally Posted By purevl2:
