Gunbroker or the EE.
I got one off gunbroker last week, and I think there is at least one in the EE. Update: Page two of AK rifles in the EE. Wants a little more than retail. I am unaware of anyone still having any in stock though. |

I've got one and LOVE it!
Where can I get a folding stock for this thing? I'm not trying to cut my tangs either... I don't see anything other than tapco

I don't even know if the tapco works for the milled. I really don't know of any offhand. Milled AKs are much more rare, so there's not really a huge market for companies to cater to.

Only mod I would do to that is to put matching wood grips. You'll regret it if you cut the lower stock tang.

One of the best AK's Century ever did, Picked up my M1960 2 years ago $650. OTD
Action on this Rifle is smooth as glass. Only Mod made to my gun was a Krebs Peep sight.
I want it to look like a 1960's AK HDH. |

Bought mine used for $625 out the door with a bayonet and 5 - 30 round mags. I added a cleaning rod and a wood pistol grip.

I purchased mine from Centerfire last month($599). I refinished the wood and replaced the muzzle slant brake w/ a nut. The grip was replaced with an unissued Polish but I will probably get wood as well.

Did they come with the front sight canted or just fine? I still was looking at the Iiberty arms but I noticed (not sure) the stock looks like one from stamped receiver? how could they do that? (still not sure but if you see the pic i believe is a stamped stock in a milled receiver?? see pics here |

From what I can see there are no Polish parts in that Rifle. That being said it looks like a well built rifle and it better be seeing it's $200. more than the Century Gun.

For starters, it's has the wrong barrel, front sight block, gas block. It's a milled receiver built on AKM parts. |

Henderson is where I bought mine, but they no longer have it listed.
Here's mine with refinished furniture - a real solid gun and a joy to shoot. ![]() |

I think I might have asked before, what did you use to refinish? I want the one I just picked up to have a darker stock.

If you're referring to my refinishing... I mixed 2 water based Minwax stains, approx 2-1 mix of dark to red color, to get the target finish color. The target color was the upper forend which is original and not refinished at all - the goal was to match that 1 piece to the rest of the furniture. Shots of clear satin sealed the finish when done.
Water based stain and constant light sanding were keys to my final finish. Hope that helps...... ETA - I detailed this in dump1567's mini review which started many like myself into getting into these 60's - here. The specific post here gives the names of the stains. ETA2 - To anyone considering one of these... they only look like an AK, they shoot so smooth you'll think the action was ball-bearing based - really tight and super smooth... unlike the sloppy gritty typical AK experience. Very nice firearms which (in my mind) are a terrific value when purchased for less than $700 - it's much like a Milled AK for twice the price. Extremely accurate too. It's a great gun to buy and customize to create a satisfying project that didn't cost too much. |

Thanks Hedonist.
I couldn't remember where I saw that at. I agree with you on everything. This rifle is amazing for the cost. I usually don't buy duplicate rifles, but for this one, I made an exception. Twice. |

Here's my Polish milled 1960...
Mine has the adjustable "greneade launcher" gas block...turns my AK into a single shot when suppressed
I LOVE this gun! I want to upgrade to some sort of fancy folding stock... ~WTS |
