It has a US NDS reciever, US barrel, tapco g2 fcg, so I put a US made follower on it so I could use the original furniture with the bulgarian brown/pink pistol grip. I have a matching circle 10 makarov that is also from 1989. Both guns are unissued and from the final year of the Warsaw pact. Thats an awesome set of pics! |

Finslayer83 and others interested in pics. I am currently bidding on a Izhmash 1988 AK74 kit with a virgin Bulgarian barrel. I'll update the post in a few hours if I won the auction.
I won't be able to make the competiton for this month and good luck to those who posted. My plan is to purchase a receiver from 74LLU and send it to either Mario at POHF or Chris at AKUSA. Cheers - |

Oooh, ooh, can I play? Am I too late?
Country of Origin: Bulgaria (OOW receiver) Builder: Ohio Rapid Fire Theme: No real theme, just a run of the mill Bulgarian parts kit on an OOW receiver Story: I liked the rifle as built, but I was not impressed with the finish. As delivered it had a parked receiver and top cover, but the rest of the rifle was painted. I finally decided to refinish it. I used the Duracoat HK black and added plum furniture. I think it's a much nicer looking rifle now.

Mine is an SGL-31-94 with Russian tan sling. Shooting at steel at approximately 700yds (with good results).
