If you bought it for $500, can you imagine what the previous owner sold it for?

That's what I thought, they probally gave the poor sucker $200.00

When I asked to looked at it the salesman said "oh this it's just a Chinese ak47" I took it and flipped the tag over and when I saw $500.00 I said I'll take it and then he told me "oh and it comes with 6 mags cause they won't fit the other ak's we have" and I about shit myself

They had probally 8 wasr's and IO's for right at $600.00 LOL

You gotta love it when people automatically assume that Chinese = crap.

Heres my factory 386 CS series Galil side-folder. . I've been "playin" alot with it lately. . so before the "purists" come out and start verbally "bashin" me no permanent mods were made and all stock items are tucked away and could be reinstalled in 15 to 20 minutes.. . its a phone pic so sorry bout the quality. .

Mods: Texas Weapons Systems Gen 2 dog leg with rear peep (step drilled rear peep out a couple of sizes as was just too small to let enought light in at night to use). Vortex Sparc mounted on medium riser so peep can be used as BUIS "on the fly" . . with kill flash and Butler Creek #4 lens caps. .Meprolight tritium front post and Command Arms Preban Galil style cheek riser.

I have a few more, but here are a few

Hungarian SA-85M (Kassnar Import)

Norinco 56S Under Folder (Siles Import)

Norinco 84S (CSI Inport)

Polytech Legend (KFS Import)

Polytech Spiker in 7.62x39 (They did make a few in .223)

Egyptian Maadi (Steyr Import)

Squires Bingham M AK-22  (AP-80)-(These were Made in Italy by Amri Jager and all Pre-89, I also have a more beat up Mitchell Arms AK-22 (AP-80) so I always have spare parts!)

I have a stripped Pre-89 Norinco 56S receiver being used to build a SBR (class 3) Krinkov in 5.45x39 right now, so no pics.  I also have a NDM-86 Dragunov but don't consider that an AK, nor do I my Egyptian Rasheed.

Not sure what I am missing except a Mitchell Arms Yugo gun, a Galil and Valmet (I don't consider the Galil or Valmet really AK's either)

What did you have to do to the mags to get them to work? Grind the front top down a bit?

I had to modify the locking tab in the back and also along the spine on the lead-in to the locking tab. A little bit of filing was needed to the front locking tab.
