My lgs had a few of these a while back. I was tempted but didn't like the plastic magwell. Have you have a chance to run it hard yet? Curious how it would hold up.

New here, to put it brief, I'm a college student, own a remington 870, AK-47, and a Glock 30SF.. mainly because they have all proven to be the most durable time and time again. About to undergo a major makeover. Removing the EOTech and adding a Primary Arms Micro dot for cowitness on the ultimak, since the EOTech is a little bit too high as you can tell in the photo. Also adding a Tekko Lower handguard rail with an AFG2 (until I have the money for the lower ultimak 1913). Other upgrades that have shipped but haven't arrived are the Krebs enhanced safety lever and the tromix extended bolt on handle. After that, I'm ready to pump out another 1000 rounds and continue building my 870 tactical. Love the all black look of the AK, don't really want to go with an FDE or olive drab.

Put on the tekko lower handguard to accompany my ultimak gas tube. Some people said they had to modify the tekko to work with the ultimak.. I just used a hammer, plastic slid right in the groove. Tightest setup I've ever had, not even one sign of looseness and it does not budge. Best part is that the lower cost me around 35 bucks whereas if I finished with a quad rail it wouldve been another $200. Big fan of afg2 so I threw that on there. Looking for an MS3 next. Not sure what sling options would be best for my setup, feel free to give advice.

Krebs safety lever is awesome... and doing fast reloads with the Tromix knob is so much easier. Waiting on the QD mount from Echo 9 3 and the MS4 sling. Also bought a hogue pistol grip im planning on putting on it.

WASR 10/63 
The MAKO Group Shock stock is a great stock but as far as recoil reduction on the WASR not much of a difference, as I personally feel there is not enough recoil to begin with, but awesome stock, could see it being a definite advantage on a Vepr in 7.62x54r or any PSL, SVD style AK. Also had the MAG Lock on cause at the time I had the WASR in CA. |
