The wood on both are the $25 kits from Apex. I stripped the original finish off and then stained it with Minwax "Sedona Red" and blends of Rit dye (mixed in alcohol) and food coloring. I got closer to matching all the wood on the Bulgy as the stock and the upper handguard seemed to be the same type of wood. The kit I got for the Saiga was three very different types of wood.

Currently on its 15th tin of 7N6 and still running strong. The only issue has been a cracked brake. I replaced it with another Bulgarian unit and it's holding up fine so far.
