The wood on both are the $25 kits from Apex. I stripped the original finish off and then stained it with Minwax "Sedona Red" and  blends of Rit dye (mixed in alcohol) and food coloring. I got closer to matching all the wood on the Bulgy as the stock and the upper handguard seemed to be the same type of wood. The kit I got for the Saiga was three very different types of wood.

It is a semi auto rifle, a PLO Type III kit built on a special run Firing Line Reciever by Mario at POH Firearms. It was built two years ago and cost me a total of $2100.

Nothing fancy here...

Bulgarian kit on AUSA receiver.  Currently on its 15th tin of 7N6 and still running strong.  The only issue has been a cracked brake.  I replaced it with another Bulgarian unit and it's holding up fine so far.
