Pure sexy. Sometimes less makeup is better.
ETA: A little toe in the pic would also be nice :) Originally Posted By VA-gunnut:

Great examples so far from the rest. |

The one on the left is from Rusmilitary yes, the one on the right was refnished by NACHTJAGER from theakforum. Not a perfect match to the typical color, but then again no one has ever seemed to get that right anyway. His set has a little bit more red which is what I after. He did a fantastic job, particularly on the HG's. (PG is original finish from a different source) Z |

I agree actually but the classic look didn't feel right on a 7.62...I guess it's because the UR ships in all black poly and by defination is a modern AK rather than old school traditional, so proper furniture and bakelite mags actually feels out of place to me.
That being said I am really considering another 5.45 to go pure traditional, maybe even 'authentic' clone But for pure looks, yeah I agree the laminate smokes the camo paint job...right up til you get a scratch on the wood lol Z |

Thanks man I've always loved the Drags. Their rugged, utilitarian design combined with the beautifully finished furniture is a perfect example of what I love in traditional AK's.
