Want to mount a red dot. Probably primary arms. It already has the side bracket.. But which mounts will fit on that?

Take a look at the Ultimak/PA bundle on the PA site. I like that setup so far.

MI makes a good mount and that one should fit your rail. I like the clamping mechanism design but have not been able to see how well it holds up over the years. Seems sturdy though and I have really good expectations.


Mounts can get pricey but the cheaper the mount the less likely it will return to zero properly. The Russian NPZ and Alpha mounts are overall the best you can buy but are rare and sometimes hard to find. RS Regulate is pricey but easily available and a damn good mount. I am extremely impressed by the design and the Russians are copying it now too (unfortunately)


There are tons of choices but do some research and ask more questions here before you buy. There are airsoft knock offs out there too, so be careful.

I have the RAS 47 with gray Zhukov set-up.    I use a Midwest Industries mount with a Vortex Sparc II red dot.   I don't have enough rounds through it yet to comment on the longevity, but the coolness factor is quite high.

Yes it should. You'll need to adjust tension and get familiar with the design but it's made for a standard AK pattern side rail which the RAS47 has based on your photos

Doublecheck their website and make sure you buy the AK version if given a choice. SVD version has a slightly different mechanism which will not fit anything but an SVD or Vepr rail, but I think the MI only comes in AK mount.
