Does anyone own one of these or have any experience with them? I currently have a MTK-83 with a red dot. It came with the rifle but it places the optic way too high for my taste. I want a decent quality mount that sits low to the dust cover. I'm kind of torn between the MI mount and the RS Regulate system. I would have a really hard time spending the money RS wants for their products though. The only reason I'm considering the RS is because I've read that sometimes the MI mounts don't center on some rifles, leaving them offset and shiftine the point of impact left or right at distances. I'd hate to spend 100 dollars on a mount only to install it and have it not centered on my rifle. This will be going on a Saiga .308 by the way.

I tried the MI version. It placed the scope low enough, but I found that it only likes certain optics. From what I've read, it is designed around the Hi Lux 1-4. Otherwise, be careful that your scope doesn't have a large enough eyepiece that it doesn't clear the dust cover.

The other problem was that it also put the scope low enough that it wouldn't clear the rear sight. You can only push your optic so far forward before it hits the rear sight blade.

I would just say go RS Regulate.
