Hey all I have a quick question. I ordered a bm-1 and plan to put a g2x in a thorntail mount on it. Will the heat be a problem for this light? I'm not talking about mag dumps, but 40+ RDS of susstaind fire isn't  unheard of when the guys get together to play. Thanks for any info you may have

I doubt heat will be an issue for a G2. Lots of guys run them on ultimaks with offset mounts, I don't recall hearing any negative press about them getting too hot.

My G2 hasn't had any issues with my G2 mounted on my Ultimak.

Thanks guys! I have a g2 on a Ultimak on my SLR but didn't know about the increased heat mounted on the barrel.
