Trying to decide what to put on my SLR 107 FR.

I hear too many bad things about the railed top covers, so it looks like the Arsenal SM13 is gonna be the way to go. Not wanting to spend $170 on an RS Regulate mount. I also prefer a one piece mount.

I'm trying to get input from guys using Eotechs on side rail mounts, and people using the Obzor.

Rob Ski on AK Operators Union did a torture test on the SM13 gave it positive review (check it out on youtube).  He say in his video that It is on par with the RS Regulate.

When I get my SLR104 or SLR107 that's what I'm gonna put on it (...problem is I can decide which one to get)

Have you been to TX Zen's site?

I think the Obzor will sit a bit higher than the EOTech on an SM13.

I'm a big Eotech fan (own two XPS2s and one EXPS2) and also a long time
Obzor owner.  I say it's a crapshoot between the two of them, they are
both top performers.  Get the one that appeals to you most and never
look back.

Geez, that Obzor looks tall from behind!
This is why I use Rakurs

The Obzor is tall from any angle you want to look at it.

The Eotech is only a tiny fraction lower, if at all.  The XPS2 on my Vepr 12 sits right on the dust cover, and with a 3/4" Magpul riser it is still a chin weld.  It's the nature of the beast with both optics, you either choose to live with it or move on to something else.

I wouldn't put an Eotech on an AK using any available mount. It's just too tall in my opinion. I'd got with some type of red dot on an Ultimak mount.
