What do you guys recommend?  Meprolight rear with xs front? XS Front with LAW tactical rear with some sort of glock sight?
I'm honestly thinking of getting some glow-on, making a very small recess on the front sight filling it with paint and giving it a clear coat of it and doing the same with a windiage adjustable sight.

If you're OK with "light-charged" night sights, consider a set of the snap-on East German military surplus ones.  I've heard (hearsay) that they are active enough to make a geiger counter jump.  Either way, they are relatively cheap and work very well - at least for me..

It seems the EG sights can pretty dim, but that's because the fluorescent paint is usually worn out by the radium.

You can refresh the paint with new stuff, but be careful dealing with the old paint. I definitely wouldn't lick it or snort it to find out if it tastes/smells radioactive.

If I were really going to put a night-sight on my AK, I'd get one of those AR15-compatible front sight drums, simply because AR15 night sight front posts aren't half a frickin' mile wide like AK night sights are. ACE makes one.

The Polish Beryls have a front sight post with a tritium vial in a square section below the tip of the sight. It's an interesting design, but it's open on four sides, which I think is not so cool.

Where can i find a polish front sight? i found plenty of rear sights.

An has anybody use the ACE drum?
