I'm putting together a 14.5" pinned 106f with bolton block that will be shot suppressed. I'm going to use an ultimak gas tube but was curious about the vent holes. Since the bolton block does not have vent holes, and i'll get more back pressure with the suppressor I would think the rail with the vent holes would be the better option. Ive noticed most the Rifle Dynamics builds have 3 holes it looks like they drilled themselves, where the factory vented ultimak has 4 holes. Just curious what yall thought.

pick the one you think looks nicer. It doesn't matter.
