THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I have Ultimak on a SGL31 with a Aimpoint T1 and I was wondering what the correct way to make the setup to work? If anybody has photos of their sight picture with this setup would be great, Im not too sure if the dot should rest and the front sight post or float in the middle? Thanks for the help! |

Your sight picture should be based on zeroing the optic to point of impact at whatever distance you choose to zero, not a set position within the optic itself.

Irons are in the lower 1/3 with an Ultimak and TRS-25. Lower 1/3 is my preferred co-witness, never been a fan of an absolute co-witness with fixed iron sights, sight picture becomes too cluttered.

What kind of mount are you using? Do you guys know if the T1 will really 1/3 cowitness? My H1 sits a little high on the TWS topcover rail (using Aimpoint LRP QR mount). |

Using an ultimak, the T1/H1 will 1/3 cowitness with the stock mount, the aimpoint qd mount, the A.R.M.S. #31 mount. Those are three I have used and can verify 1/3 cowitness.
