Yup. The reticle is calibrated out to 800 meters and "AKMC" is etched into the reticle (visible in the FOV). The 5.45 versions are calibrated to 1000 meters and have "AK74" etched into the reticle. It seems that 99% of the PO3.5s out there are 5.45 versions, my 7.62 PO is only the second one I have ever seen. Recently bought it from another member here. |

Yugo M70B1s are my favorite AK variant, I own two of them. The "twins" have subtle differences (besides optics) that set them apart: The PO should look familiar, it's former owner has posted pics of it on here before. You probably can guess who that is... Congrats on your latest acquisition as well. |

I went to Eastwave and they have a 3.5x21P www.eastwavescope.com/index.php?event=description&gr_1=8&gr_2=14&item=67&lang=en I'm wondering if you know what the difference is between them one is a P and one is not and they look a bit different. Also I noted that you also have a IP78 2.8. Which do you like better the 3.5x21 or the IP78 2.8? Anyone can offer an opinion . Thanks, |

Thanks, The one pictured on Eastwave's site is the non-illuminated version, it lacks the battery compartment you see on mine. Regardless of the picture, I believe Eastwave is selling the illuminated version, you can e-mail them to confirm. I love the excellent clarity and FOV of the 3.5x21. I do not own a 1P78. |

Thanks, I did a small review comparing the two here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=56&t=125136&page=1 I have since sold my PO if that answers your question. Honestly, I love the PO too, but I give a slight edge to the 1P78 due to it's smaller size. Just a more well rounded optic IMO. The glass quality on the PO is slightly better though. |

How the hell does he switch out mags? That forward vertical grip is both too long and too far back. I can't see how the mag can be rocked in.

I kinda winced at the $400 price tag, but a quality scope and mount purchased separately would have run me at least that much, so I'm good with it. It's relatively light and compact for a 3-9x variable, which is what I was after. |
