Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What are these drum magazines?

So, I bought two AK drum magazines about two years ago and ... I totally forgot about them. I stuck them in the back of one of my gun room cabinets and ... um .. I have no idea what I bought.

Can you tell me about them?

I know they are "Made in Romania" and do not load from the top and at thsi point they are still nearly dripping with packing oil/grease, etc.

That is a chinese drum mag NOT made in Romania!  I like them better than the Romanian drums.  I recall they are either 75 or 100 round and I can't tell which you have from the photos.

Also note there were 120rd 5.56 mags for the AR-15 too.  Same basic mag just with shinier slots in the mag and a steel tower for the AR.
