I have a box of 10 Romanian steel 30rd mags just sitting around. Most of them are a bit rusty, and the finish on them is worn.

I was thinking about sending them, and a couple fal magazines, to be cerakoted.  Has anyone else done this?

What little I've seen online, is that the cost is around $20 per magazine.  Do they give discounts for say 10 mags?  If there is no discount, I'd be better off just buying new ones.

It kills and stops the rust, so all you have to do is use some Dawn dish soap to scrub them with to remove all the grease and oil. However, you want to disassemble them first, before washing.

Let them dry thoroughly, then paint. This is what I've found to work best and requires the least amount of time and effort.
