Hello all,

I need to buy 3 reliable 40rds AK magazines. I saw the Korean brand magazine for around $16 each. Is it reliable?

If it were me, I would get surplus commie mags, and skip the Korean.

Sure thing, or maybe. Your choice.

Can't go wrong with 40 Russian Bakelites. Only run ya about $120 a pop at current market rates (which is a good price, they seem to go from $120 to $160 these days).

If you don't want to spend that much find some Eastern Europe/ Russian surplus steel mags instead.

Don't buy the Korean mags, they are junk for the most part.

As others said buy surplus . I have a coupe of Chinese 40's . There are enough 40's of all flavors available to avoid the Korean mags

40-round ((10))s are nice. Pay attention to the EE here and the marketplaces of other forums and you can score some for $50 or less. I got a handful for $35 each.

My circle 10's have been flawless. Both 40 and 30 round.

Molot or chicom steel 40's, some for sale on the EE now.
