Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone leave an RPK drum loaded for a long period of time?

Title says it all. Have you done this and what effect did you notice? I know all about leaving conventional magazines loaded, but have not heard much about the flat, clock spring of the RPK drum and how it holds up under prolonged tension.

I left a Russian 75rd drum loaded for about 9 years and it's still fine, from what I can observe of it.
