I went to a gunshow with a buddy of mine who was looking for some parts to finish his 300BLK build and I saw this magazine on a table. I just assumed it was 7.62x39 and bought it to use as a benchrest mag. Problem is, when I went the range the 7.62x39 round is too long to load in it.

What have I got here?

Pics shown with 7.62x39 round and Romy 30rd mag for comparison.

IIRC, that's a ten round mag for blanks.

You should be able to use standard ammo after removing the internal spacer. I believe it's spot welded on the top and bottom.

Well, damn. That does make a lot of sense. I guess I'll take it apart and see if I can get that extra bit removed and swap the follower.

Thanks!

Polish, for use with grenade launching blanks.
