Yea they're cool. The mag bodies clean up good in the dishwasher. The best? Don't know about that. Best looking probably.

To answer your question OP, IMO, no they aren't the best, not by a long sight. And expensive for what they are. But they work, and they are a cool piece of militaria history.
Best to me, would be the original Russian slabsides, followed by East Germans, steel is best. |
