So I recently bought 40 surplus steel mags in a grab bag from sgammo. In that group I got 6 interesting mags that I can't identify from the .pdf previously posted on this forum, and two mags that have something weird done to them that I don't understand. Does anyone know who makes these mags? Do you have an estimated price for them?
6 interesting mags:
All six have cut out followers
3 x Mags spine marked 02 and M (looks more like a batarang to me...)
1 x Mag spine marked with an 8 or 6, C (possibly followed by a 4), [2], (10)
2 x Mag spine marked 02 and D

2 bizarre alteration mags that have some sort of cut buff marks. It isn't just finish buffing, there are literal cuts in the metal.

Circle 10 is Bulgarian,
Crescent moon (man in the moon) is Hungarian

What about the Mags with 02 and D?

Are Bulgarian or Hungarian mags worth more than your average steel surplus mag?

02 and what you are calling  "D" is the "moon-man" - Hungarian. Value - a little more desirable than a Romanian mag, but no real premium.

Oh. I guess the crescent M mags and D Mags are the same stamp, the placement just sucked on the D mags so it looked like a D instead of the crescent moon.

What about the Bulgarian steel (10)? What do those usually go for?

Sorry about that. So no price checks. That leaves one question left... What the heck are the buff marks???

Just machining marks from when the mags were made.
