I have about 30 mags. I figure if SHTF, I would run outta ammo before I lost or wore out the mags I have.

In 2004 the AWB ended. AR mags went from $30-$40 each to $10 each, overnight.
I bought 100 mags, stuck them in a big bin, and they have stayed there ever since. Mags are at $10 each right now. If I was smart, I would buy another 200 or 300. Then again, most likely Hussein and his flying monkeys will most likely make all normal cap mags illegal via executive fiat, so then I would have hundreds of "illegal" mags with no way to sell them. Then again, I could probably move them at $100 each pretty easy once they were "illegal"... It is something to ponder, ain't it? |
