Polymer mags are often thicker where the mag inserts.

If they wiggle but work their isn't really a problem.
Test, push the mag as far to one side as possible, shoot until mag empty, refill and push the mag to the other side, shoot until empty, if it works then you have no problem. Bakelite's are looser in my AK as well, but I actually prefer them. They are IMHO much easier to quickly load into the weapon than polys. |

Mine are that way with Nodak, Romanian, and Arsenal. |
