I wouldn't be surprised to see Russian ammo manufacturers added. I'm sure US manufacturers are lobbing for it to prop up prices as prices and consumption slump under the current administration. Sanctions would be the easiest way to ensure another panic run.

This has always been the Achilles Heal of all AK/Com Bloc weapons, the cheap ammo can be cut off essentially at any time. If you are committed to the AK for your SHTF rifle etc.....buy a lifetime supply and stack it away. That is the only way to be secure from supply interruptions due to political pressures.

well, we just got one. Looks like Tula is being sanctioned in the latest hit job from our govt.

NPO High Precision Systems JSC is on the list of sanctioned defense companies. Tula Cartridge Plant is listed here as one of their holdings.
