How many rounds of loose ammo in ammo cans

Can anyone give me some approx numbers on how many rounds of loose 7.62x39 will fit in a

30cal ammo can
50cal ammo can
&
Fat 50 cal ammo can ?????

I like using 30 cal cans. Whether I store them in boxes or loose, 500 rounds works well and leaves room for dessicant packs.

I thought I read somewhere 600/650 rounds loose in a 30
-12/1300 in a 50cal can. I'd like to know how much in a fat 50!

You can easily do 1,000 rounds in a 50 can and 500 in a 30 can with room left over in both

Be aware, with a full fat 50, you are talking a LOT of pounds. If you are planning to use this as a SHTF or Get out quick set up, stick with 30 cans. You won't want to be lugging around 55 pound ammo cans.
