So I know nothing about this stuff. Is it good? Why is it good? Is it worth the higher price than wolf or golden tiger? I know it is corrosive and that throws me off, I'm not a huge fan of corrosive ammo. Essentially do the benefits out way the negatives (price & corrosive)?

It is considered good because of the bullet's increased yaw effect as well as being an accurate and "hot" military load; it is also worth it if you can get it in a sealed can, or sealed in stripper clips. Corrosive is really no big deal, you just have to clean with boiling water or windex afterwards.
Golden Tiger does the same thing without being corrosive, and it has lacquered and sealed cases.
You know how the saying goes though, buy it cheap and stack it deep; so buy whichever is cheaper and keep it sealed and stored.

Brass case with combat-minded bullet design.  Hot, accurate ammo.  You have to clean up after using, especially where humid, but years ago it was cheap.  I have a sealed case stashed away, but shot two other cases and loved the ammo.  That being said, what people are selling it for today is too high.  For SHTF, I would get a case of Hornady SST and be done.

EDIT:  Prices have come down since I last checked..  $364 for a 1,260 round case.  These cases were selling for like $500 last time I saw it for sale.

How hot is it compared to other brands?

I've read it is well liked and something to acquire for brass case/accuracy

I like it also. when i was buying it the price was $169 a case. only two left, i wish i had bought more.

About an inch of dust on my 2 sealed crates of M67

Part of the appeal is that there is nothing to attract a magnet in the round.     I think some folks use it in indoor ranges that don't allow bi-metal bullets.

I bought 4x1260 crates back in the day when it was cheap but sold it after sandy hook in the ammo craze for profit.

It's good ammo.

I found a dozen boxes of it in a gun shop last week, $3.95 a box.  Nabbed 'em all

If I remember right it also produces less muzzle flash compared to Wolf and other common 7.62x39. All in all it is everything you would want from an FMJ round except that it is corrosive. And it is corrosive because that is what they used to make the primers last longer which is why 20 or 30 year old ammo is still reliable. I think a lot of the appeal for some is that it is legit military ammo.

Given the cost I think buying Golden Tiger is a better idea though.

What everyone else has said plus the primer sealant likes to litter the inside of your receiver. Wideners has some in stock and I see it's being imported under the Red Army Standard line too.  Load up a mixed mag of M67 and wolf and watch and hear the difference in them.

I saw some boxes and a .50 can of Yugo ammo loose today at the gunshow in Ga.

I have seen the Red Army Elite (Bosnian) advertised as M67 effect ammo.  Has anyone compared it to real M67?  If it truly is as good as real M67 and non-corrosive, then it could be a real option for when GT is not available.

Has anyone done a video of testing M67 in gel?

I think they called that the Serbian war.

Sorry--bad joke.  Bad joke.  I couldn't help.

I looked on youtube and couldn't find one.  I'd be interested in a test if someone ran one.

I guess I'll have to do that.

ETA: test in gel, that is, not have a Bosnian war.

RAS is not M67, they are similar but not the same.
Ive found the M67 to be much more accurate, more consistent, cleaner, and about 200-300fps faster (it likes longer barrels)

I haven't tested it yet, but that seems off. 2600-2700 fps?

I got 2245 fps for a 20 round average yesterday (16.3 inch SAM7R).

It's really consistent ammo, but we should probably strike "hot" as a common descriptor. (That said, the 2200 fps range seems to be the domain of the most accurate types)

For the price, great stuff.

Your welcome.

I suspect that they wont include the sealed crates and it will be sold as pictured.

The original crates were sealed with 1120 rounds (stripper clips) and 1260 in 15 round boxes.(84 boxes per crate)

I ordered the 1120 in hopes that they send me a sealed crate on strippers. The strippers alone are worth .50-$1.00 each.

J&G just got some M67 in as well but its way higher priced. This may mean a sign of some Yugo coming back into the country.

I hope you're right about that since I can't take advantage of this deal right now (I dumped $300 on AR parts not 2 hours before seeing this!).
