The bullet has a boat tail which helps make it more accurate, sealed primer and bullet make it a good candidate for longer term storage.

NEV the Golden Tiger is very good ammo, probably a little better than what we can find on the shelf and worth having some, especially for long term storage. SG Ammo has shipping but no TX sales tax.

I should get another partial load of Golden tiger Tuesday. Trucking this stuff in has been difficult because the snow last week pretty much started here in Oklahoma and went all the way back east. For every day of snow it takes 4 days for trucking to catch up, and this stuff had to pass through that lane from New Jersey at one end to me here in Oklahoma at the other, very hard to find a carrier to take the load under those conditions

I have a whopping one rifle chambered for 7.62. An old SKS I bought from my now dead buddy. I hardly shoot it and have around 4K rounds on hand. For the life of me I know that I don't really need the ammo as much as I want to buy more. I am drawn to these threads like a moth to a flame.

Yup the owner of Wolf ammo and also a management official for Tula have confirmed that it is business as usual and there are no restrictions. The owner of Wolf (an american company by the way, didn't know that) has said that there is a big shipment of ammo and saiga(?) rifles on the water as we speak and that even if the Russians can't supply him he already has a contingency plan to be supplied with affordable ammo from elsewhere.

I've recently been working on building up my stores and was looking to pic up some GT when the Russian panic hit. Wound up buying some Wolf when it showed up in stock. Shoulda waited another day.

Glad I picked up a case when it was in stock. Hopefully they will get some more back in soon. I like the lacquer coating and sealant used on these cartridges.
But people go bezerk when this stuff is in stock. a lot of people buy it up and turn around on GunBroker and sell it for a lot more. |

looks like 1000 more cases of GT coming Monday, but we sold 2000 of the GT just in the last 10 days under rationing restrictions, then after Monday's load 45 days or so to see another shipment. People are buying this stuff up as well as other types like crazy right now
