What price range should I be looking at? And do you guys know of any good deals on anything better? Golden Tiger would be great but, I'd be okay with Tul or whatever I can get right now. I'm basically just looking for a deal that's the best bang for my buck at the moment. Thanks

I had quite a few silver bear .45 ACP rounds that were grossly out of spec dimensionally. I didn't buy any more for that reason. Don't know about .223 though. |

Has anyone verified that it is corrosive? Wolf is adamant that it isn't. |

Plenty of evidence here http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_4_54/143361_Wolf_Lacquer__CORROSIVE___pic_heavy_.html Wolf denies it,but they are full of it.The wolf that is NOT made in the Ukraine is good to go.Stay away from the KSAP white boxed Russian ammo as well. |

from what I have read the ammo that ha been in question for being corrosive was older lots and were accidentally loaded with a corrosive primer (wolf). Wideners has said they tested new lots and its ok, may want to ask them in the industry forums. For what its worth I have been working on a case of corrossive yugo that I got a while ago and have not cleaned my one AK variant and have seen no rust yet.

I had one of the corrosive cases and wolf flat out refused to refund or exchange for non corrosive.I sold it at a loss.Their word means nothing to me anymore. When in doubt, buy another brand.Bear,ULY,Golden Tiger, are good choices. Probably the humidity level is why you havent seen any rust yet.The salts are there waiting to rust it up in due time. |
