Hi, I recently acquired a Norinco MAK90 with an ATI Strikeforce stock attached on it. After inspecting the weapon I noticed that there were no drill holes for the tang and the stock appears to be glued on. Any idea on how to remove the stock?

Are you trying to keep the stock intact after removal? With my hate for the Strikforce I would probably go at it with a hacksaw and assorted cutting tools.

On second thought though,is the glue epoxy? There may be a type of solvent that would help to loosen the bond.

My guess is that its just a very tight fit.

A large screwdriver on the stock inside the receiver, and a hammer usually works.  Even if it is glued, the glue won't hold well to a metal receiver, I would think the same process would work.

Walmart sells a chemical paint stripper, comes in a gold aerosol can.  Not even JB Weld can stand up to it.
