Howdy. Just purchased my first AK, an M&M M10-762. Hoping to shoot it this weekend, so I field stripped it and gave her a good cleaning and lube job.

My questions: What size jag and bore brushes/patches should I have on hand. I ran a .38sp Bore Snake through the barrel and it seemed to work fine.

Thanks in advance

30 cal for sure on the jag itself.  Same for a bore brush.

For patches, be ready with some thinner and thicker ones.  I've found some really paper thin precut cleaning patches can be too small and tee shirt material is sometimes too thick!  You want it tight, but not "hammer it through" if you know what I mean.

Thanks. I'm sure there'll be more questions. I appreciate the feedback.
