Built, not bought...

Romanian AKM kit heavily modified. The only parts left stock are the receiver, FCG, and recoil spring. Everything else got the dremel treatment!

Here's the mock-up for when my tax stamp comes in:

Fits all nice and neat in an attache case:

It takes a lot for me to like a bulpup, and that is the nicest AK bulpup I have ever seen!

Wow.

Almost 100% American made, except for the Russian side folder, bolt and bolt carrier. Home Parkerized, then KG Gunkoted "AK Black".

He made them himself. AKSU sights are more rounded and don't use a standard RSB.

Well, the amazing photo sharpness, superb lighting, and stellar angle certainly make that quite obvious.

With the receiver cover sights, I can see your point. But the incorrect RSB is inexcusable no matter how bad the photo.

Here is my AK74 Bulgarian build I did three months ago with my XM177 clone. The handguards are plum and refinished with a mixture of Krylon Fusion colors Satin Burgundy and Satin Espresso. The paint has held up through two trips at the range.

My Khyber build. I built this using an old Armory USA receiver that I've had for years that's been beaten up pretty good through numerous moves and practicing riveting on. The bulk of parts are Romanian from left over kits, as well as Yugo, Polish, Egyptian and Russian parts. I hand cut the receiver for the folding stock and latch. This one isn't getting any refinishing, just the selector markings (already did the detents). I plan on taking this rifle with me everywhere I can to really put it through its paces.

My first bastard build....Yugo....bought for next to nothing because a guy bent the end of the barrel trying to remove front sight.

I split it and cropped the barrel.....moved it back and added longer flash hider.

It had a folding stock....which was busted so a couple hours in my fab shop and a fixed stock was fabricated.

Cause and effect......Cause is over....Brace for effect....I prep.....what you do to brace yourself.....is at your discretion. But for those who don't prep.....I prep for you....in a different way......Me
