The AMT Trunnions are so Hard they cannot be tapped.

I also tack'd the rear trunion in place so my stock would line up perfectly, before I riveted it in.

Forgot to add a pic of my bucking bar for the front trunion, I used a ring sizer from my wife's craft stuff. Worked pretty good too.

I decided to go with a AMD65 14.3" Barrel. And AMT barrel pin.

I had to back the barrel out a bit, so I used a balljoint tool.

I can get the pictures to open by opening the link in a new tab. I would definitely consider re-riveting the front trunnion correctly, as the method you used is prone to failure. Overall, the build would not give me the warm and fuzzies shooting it. However, it's not my rifle and I'm not the one shooting it.
