A matching numbers kit? Are you asking for an original barreled Polish kit??
Good Luck! There are a few Romy original barreled kits but the days of matching numbers original barreled Polish kits is long over.
You may get someone to get up off of a stockpiled kit if you throw out enough cash.
Ooh by the way for the original barreled Romy "G" kits they are asking $600.00

My shooting bud has purchased four (4) Polish parts sets from Midway and three or them were matching numbers / 1980's date.

Check with Brad at gunthings.com. He's been great to deal with.
He has Polish UF kits that look excellent but don't say matching. For $385 I wouldn't care personally.

Well I bit. Just got a fixed kit from Midway in. I am very happy with it, all numbers matching! I'm surprised how clean it is for 1968! Now I just need to figure out what receiver to go with and gather the rest of the little stuff. Did they put rails on the stamped ones in 1968? I know they're hard to come by.

No, I don't think the Poles put rails on AKMs.

Edit; Childers for the receiver.

Yeah I'm definitely going with childers, especially since it will be polish metal! What would the correct style of selector notches be for an old polish? Reinforcement plate or no reinforcement plate?

Cameron will help you with an authentic receiver.
Just email him and tell him what kit you got.
I'm sure he'll set you up.
