Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bulgarian fsb on sar3?

So I stumbled on an sar3 and planned to make a modern clone.  I bought a bulgarian 24mm  fsb not realizing that it will not fit die to the sar having a thinner barrel. Seeing as I'm late to the game, there are no romanian blocks to be found,  is there a feasible way to make them work?  I am not a machinist or rich if that helps.

In case anyone was interested,  I made it work using steel shims. Happy camper!
