Hey there fellas, first time poster here! been following the forum forever, but I have been wanting to do an AK build for some time, and I just got my print from RifleConnection.com along with the DPMS AR10 print! But my reason for posting is what do I need to do a California legal AK?? Also does anyone know which version of the AK rifleconnection.com is selling the blueprint for? They are great quality none the less.

If you've been following the forum forever, you'd know that the AK blueprint is a waste of money.  The receiver flats are 25$, and you will need to measure your trunnions and match them to your receiver anyway.  The measurements from the print might be nice for reference, but aren't needed.

The print you've got is for an AKM.

A California legal AK needs to comply with the California AWB and other local, state, and federal laws.  You might get a better response for that in your hometown forum,

Like AK said that the prints are not worth much unless you are machining a milled receiver.
If you are doing a stamped receiver you can do a 100% receiver, or an 80% flat (all the holes done just need bending)or blank(bent to shape just needs holes drilled) that is your choice.
I don't keep track of the laws in the state of Cali. because there is no way I would ever go there. If you need gun law info in the state of Cali. you should do a search for calguns forum they will have the info you need.
