After watching strike back I have an itch to build a vz58 compact and SBR it.  Anyone here tried to build a compact yet?   I've found kits on apex but the only receivers I've been able to find are really pricey at around $400. I have found a century vz2008 for around $500. I enjoy building But not if it puts me in the hole.

You would be better off buying the complete Vz from Century & rebuilding it to your liking.
You don't save by building anymore.
