I wish I had taken more before photo's now, but trust me - she was a little rough. Started life as a Bulgarian kit build with aspirations of a Soviet AKS-74 clone. Several thousands rounds down the pipe had left considerable carbon build up on the end of the barrel, and the original finish (which I believe was some kind of park) was failing all over. I blasted everything down and started from scratch. Cerama-coated all the steel, added some NOS Soviet laminate, and here's the result. Hard to believe it's the same rifle. I was going for the late 70's early 80's Soviet-Afghan look. I think I got it. BEFORE AFTER
