Best lube for Nitride BCG ? Will a lube penetrate that Nitride treatment ?

I usually use synthetic motor oil and ATF, mixed 50/50.

Any lube that works with a standard parkerized carrier. Use what you've got or just go pick up a quart of Mobil 1.

How about Shell ROTELLA T6 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil.
I read it is better than Mobil 1 (what I use now) in that it is for diesels so the T6 oil
will suspend carbon particles better than gas engine oils.

any oil you'd use for a phosphate bolt. seriously, this isn't rocket science. grab a gun lube, or motor oil and lube away. your BCG won't give a crap what you lube it with. Ballsitol, 5-w30 Mobil 1, CLP, Gun Butter, alien jizz. you name it

Bingo, we have a winner! Synthetic motor oil provides superior lubrication in far more harsh operating conditions than even a full auto M4 with a 600 round per minute cycle rate. Think 6,000 rpm in an engine, 100,000 rpm in the turbocharger. Turbo heat approaches 1,500 degrees F. Diesel detergent additives suspend carbon better. Direct injection turbo diesel engines run dirty, not unlike our direct impingment actions. And, one $6 quart will last a rifle user a lifetime.
