I understand it's the copper fouling but why so much? I fired like 800 rounds during the Vickers course in two days and didn't clean it till now.

I have never had a rifle turn green like that, what's the best way to get rid of the green on the outside, around flash suppressor?

I don't expect a squeaky clean rifle just wondering why it got like that.

Thanks!

Just curious, what ammo were you using and what's the twist rate on your barrel?

It's some Georgia arms ammo fired out of Bcm upper, used copper cleaner from Mpro 7 and it worked awesome!!! Didn't stink either so I was able to use it indoors.

Guess lot of shooting in two days and the crazy weather did it.

800 rounds is a lot of vaporized copper.
